Founded in 1894, Riverside Alliance Church continues to be a key part of the community of Conventry Township and Portage Lakes.

Riverside Alliance Church is a proud part of the community of Coventry Township and Portage Lakes in the Greater Akron area of Ohio. As a part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, we are here to serve you and partner with you in your faith journey. No matter who you are, or where you find yourself today, there is a place for you at Riverside! We would love to meet you and help you find your place at RAC and in God's family.
Our Vision
To build intimate relationships within Christ's family in order to create intentional relationships with the lost.
We believe growth happens in the context of relationships. That is why we prioritize our personal relationships with the Lord, growing relationships with each other, and taking steps toward building relationships with lost people that we have access to.
Our Mandates
Holy Spirit Dependence.
The only way to achieve God's purposes is for each of us to be walking in step with the Spirit. Health & growth are achieved through the Holy Spirit.
Christ-Centered Disciple-Making.
An important part of growing together is being transformed into the image of Christ. This is achieved as I am poured into and as I invest in others.
Advancing the Kingdom of God in Akron and to the Ends of the Earth.
Each of us are to be on mission everyday in the various places that God has placed us. We are also mindful of the work God is doing around the world.
